About Flipping Sixes
Flipping Sixes was born during one of the hardest seasons of my life.
I had hit a point where everything felt like it was falling apart. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and trapped inside my own thoughts. Every day felt like a battle with my own mind, and no matter what was happening around me, the negativity always seemed to win.
Then something strange started happening.
I kept seeing the number 66 everywhere. It wasn’t once or twice. It was constantly. Clocks, receipts, license plates, random places I couldn’t ignore. Eventually I decided to look up what it meant.
The meaning was simple.
Watch your thoughts.
For some reason, that stuck with me.
Every time I saw 66, I used it as a reminder to stop for a second and pay attention to what was happening in my head. If I caught myself thinking the worst, I’d challenge it. If I was tearing myself down, I’d try to replace it with something better. It wasn’t overnight, and it definitely wasn’t easy, but little by little my mindset started to change.
As I changed, my life started changing too.
Not because everything around me suddenly became perfect, but because I stopped letting my own thoughts work against me.
As time went on, another number started showing up everywhere: 99.
To me, it represented growth. It reminded me that I wasn’t the same person anymore. I had survived the darkest chapter of my life, and I was becoming someone stronger because of it.
That’s where Flipping Sixes came from.
This isn’t just a clothing brand.
It’s a reminder that your mind can either become your greatest enemy or your greatest strength. We all go through seasons where life feels heavy, where anxiety, fear, heartbreak, or self-doubt try to convince us that things will never get better. I’ve been there.
Flipping Sixes exists to remind people that they have the ability to interrupt those thoughts and choose a different direction. Sometimes the biggest change in your life starts with the smallest change in your mind.
Every design represents that journey. The messy parts. The healing. The setbacks. The growth. The person you’re becoming because you refused to stay where life left you.
I couldn’t escape my mind.
So I learned to face it.
